Captains Cove was founded on a simple belief: that a true waterfront resort should feel personal not corporate.From the very first apartment to the latest collection, every decision has been guided by the same belief and today the resort is cared for by the Gippsland Holidays team, locals who live on these waters and personally look after every guest.
Set on the shores of Paynesville at the heart of the Gippsland Lakes, the resort is woven into one of Australia’s most beautiful inland waterways. Pelicans drift past the jetty at breakfast. Raymond Island koalas are a five-minute ferry ride away. The Ninety Mile Beach is on the other side of the lake.
What started as a handful of apartments is now six distinct collections but the philosophy hasn’t changed. Slow down. Step onto the jetty. Let the water do the rest.
